Greece Skatepark
In the town of Greece, New York, we were invited to help bring a bold and imaginative vision to life, transforming a traditional skatepark into an immersive, Grecian-inspired environment that blends recreation with storytelling.
Drawing inspiration directly from the town’s name, the concept centered around creating a space that felt as though it had been carved alongside the ruins of ancient Greece.
The Design And Construction Process
The goal of this park was to design a space that not only catered to riders of all skill levels, but also delivered a visually striking experience unlike any other. The result is a 27,000 square-foot skatepark featuring a dynamic mix of ramps, pump tracks, flowing transitions, and a bowl, all beautifully integrated with details reminiscent of Ancient Greece
Our role focused on bringing depth, texture, and realism to the architectural elements throughout the park. Working in collaboration with Artisan Skateparks and Pillar Design Studios, we enhanced key features including the central “fallen” dome, park signage, and surrounding structures, while also introducing other skateable elements aligned with the overall theme.
The process began with detailed planning and scaled miniature mockups to refine the creative direction. From there, we crafted custom pillar molds offsite, ensuring accuracy and consistency in replicating classical Grecian forms. These molds, combined with specialized shotcrete techniques, allowed us to produce over 200 square feet of intricate design work. Features include broken and “fallen” columns, a partially “collapsed” dome, and carefully sculpted faux rockwork, all of which was designed to evoke the feeling of ancient ruins.

Every detail was thoughtfully executed to balance aesthetics with functionality. The finished environment not only looks creative and inviting, but remains fully rideable, proving that artistic design and performance can coexists even in high traffic environments.
Today, the park stands as a unique destination, open and free to both residents and visitors! It serves as a community hub, creative landmark, and testament to what’s possible when vision, craftsmanship, and collaboration come together.
